Saw lost dog - medium size, speckled brown / brindle

Is anyone in the Hoover/Vestavia Alabama area missing a medium sized dog with a brindle coat, possibly some kind of hound or pit mix? I saw one on the bridge where Old Rocky Ridge road goes over I 65, it was headed in the direction of the rocky ridge CVS. I have no other information or pictures, sorry.
