JOB SUMMARY: Warehouse assistant performs those tasks assigned by the warehouse manager such as, but not limited to, shipping and receiving of materials, finished goods, and equipment. Loading and unloading of company vehicles; delivery of materials, finished goods and, equipment to job sites per instructions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Please note job functions listed here are not all-inclusive, rather they indicate the types of activities normally performed by this position and, therefore, may be modified and revised. Other duties may be required and assigned from time-to-time. o Loading and unloading of material, finished goods and equipment o Ensuring cleanliness and accurate stocking of inventory in warehouse, shop and assigned work areas o Conducting cycle counts of inventory and managing daily registers o Efficiently performs all orders and instructions received through the warehouse manager, project managers or field foreman to facilitate the orderly flow of materials, finished goods and equipment to the construction sites o Load and unload company vehicles at job sites per instructions including driving of Company vehicles and trucks to/from jobsites QUALIFICATIONS: o High school diploma or GED equivalent o Unrestricted driver’s license; experience in driving over the road delivery vehicles; CDL is not required o Experience desired with fork trucks, pallet trucks, wheeled carts, overhead lifts and other warehouse equipment o Limited experience with warehouse computer systems o Will train the right candidate!!!
