FT Custodian Workload of 40-50 hours a week The Cast Iron Group (CIG) is a family of hospitality businesses that celebrate food, drink, and all that surround it!. The Cookery and The Rickhouse are beautiful event venues located in the heart of Durham. These venues host weddings, corporate events and a variety of celebrations throughout the year. The Custodian oversees the cleanliness, inventory pulls, preventative and general facility maintenance of The Cookery and The Rickhouse. Job Responsibilities include: - Keeping The Cookery and The Rickhouse event spaces in clean and orderly condition - Maintaining the Culinary Incubator at The Cookery in clean and orderly condition - Pulling Inventory to prep for events at The Cookery and The Rickhouse - Preventive and general maintenance of The Cookery and The Rickhouse - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning of the event venue facilities, this includes tasks such as emptying trash receptacles, disposing of trash into our dumpster. dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, sweeping, mopping floors, and maintaining the cleanliness of the building exteriors. This role has the opportunity for growth for the right individual that demonstrates hard work, attention to detail, and ambition. Applicants must have a driver's license and reliable mode of transportation to be considered for this role. The CIG Group does require proof of Covid Vaccination.
