The Automotive Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with technicians and customers about necessary repairs, typing repair orders, and ordering parts.
Required skills:
Communicate priorities to mechanics
Build positive relationships with customers
Collaborate with the sales department to facilitate necessary repairs
Organize and prioriatize necessary repairs
Assign tasks to the most appropriate mechanic
Create invoices for customer repairs
Help determine the best course of repairs
Ensure timely completion of repairs
Source parts necessary for repairs
Duties include:
Contact clients and relay service needs
Oversee the inspection of automobiles to identify faulty components and facilitate process for repairs
Facilitate the procurement of vehicle parts, automotive equipment and various other items required in an auto service department
Listen to client needs and assist in addressing their issues and resolving challenges
Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to their skills
Follow up customers to obtain feedback and ensure they are satisfied with received service
Schedule is Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
