New Horizons Woodworks is a rapidly growing custom cabinet and architectural woodworking company that specializes in large commercial projects such as medical facilities and schools. We have an immediate opening for a Machinist. Position Responsibilities: • Can operate the following machines under minimal supervision o Operate Edge Bander o Operate CNC (Wood router) o Operate Beam Saw o Operate Dowel Inserter o Operate Forklift • Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written Basic Qualifications: • Strong work ethic and positive attitude • Dependable, punctual, has great teamwork skills • Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with listed machinery • Previous mechanical experience • Previous cabinetry experience • Read and interpret blueprints Pay: • Full time • Starting at $15 with room to grow- D.O.E.
