Realty & Mortgage Co. Homan Square Apartments Maintenance Supervisor position The objective of the position is to preform quality maintenance in a timely manner. We are seeking a strong Maintenance Supervisor who can lead a staff of five composed of maintenance and janitorial members; manage resident service requests and work orders; completing them within 48 hours when possible. Assess issues including electrical, plumbing, A/C, and HVAC. Make sure vacant repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule. Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards. Ultimately responsible for aspects of property management that include, but are not limited to the following: · Accountable for identifying problems, completing service requests, and making repairs. · Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis. · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues. · Satisfy all reasonable maintenance requests in a timely manner. · Checking and responding to security and safety issues. · Report any liability problems immediately. · Represent property and Realty & Mortgage Co. professionally through dress and behavior. · Directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance & repair, including: power washing, stripping, sweeping, and painting. · Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections. · Physical strength of dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment. · Attend both on-site & off-site training sessions as required. · After-hour availability; including nights and weekends on a rotational basis. · Must have personal, reliable transportation to get to work in order to respond to on-call emergencies. · Experience with key cutting / lock changes Job Type: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm Pay: Starting at $23 per hour, based on experience ONLY SERIOUS APPLICANTS NEED APPLY You can email your resume & cover letter.
