In honor of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Mental Health Awareness Month (July) we will be gathering all agencies and individuals who identify with these groups in any capacity to build connections and invest in healing as a community. The goal is to reduce barriers to access to mental health care by bridging the gap between mental health professionals and community members who identify as BIPOC. Through these efforts we hope to improve mental wellness, reduce stigma, and increase treatment options for individuals with diverse backgrounds that vary by race, ethnicity, values, beliefs, and language.
