Hello, my name is Tamara, and I decided to create this event after meeting so many people who have seen my ; tattoo on my neck, in countless airports, grocery shopping, restaurants, you name it, and I’ve been stopped and asked what does it mean, or they also have a tattoo that reminds them of overcoming one of the darkest places they have been in their lives. This is a happy hour event for those in the community who would like to meet others in a space that is relaxed, free of stigma and judgment with some light snacks, refreshments and the opportunity to celebrate our lives and make some new friends and allies. (If you would like to consume adult beverages you will have to bring your own, glassware can be provided. If you do consume alcoholic beverages, I ask you please do so in moderation, this is a mental health awareness event so please respect others sobriety.)
