Join us to learn more about the AWS InCommunities Fund, a new initiative that will provide local community groups, schools, and other organizations in Umatilla County with funding to start or expand a community project.
The new $120,000 fund launching on June 25th is expected to support up to 20 community projects in Umatilla County. Interested applicants can apply to start a new, or expand an existing, local project that supports any of the following areas: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math); Sustainability & Environment; Economic Development; Future Workforce Development; Inclusion, Diversity & Equity; Homelessness; Hunger; and Health & Wellbeing.
The AWS InCommunities Fund aims to fuel the development of local programs designed to make a positive impact in Umatilla County. This initiative is part of AWS InCommunities' long-standing commitment to being a good neighbor by helping deliver innovative programs that will have a lasting impact in communities where AWS has a presence.
Funding is being provided by AWS InCommunities. The fund will be managed and administered by non-profit organization ChangeX.
This event is for key community collaborators to help us spread the word about the funding opportunity. The session will be recorded and shared with the broader community after the launch on June 25th.
