The purpose of this event: This particular fellowship is dear to my heart because 5 years ago April 28th, my mother transitioned from this earth after suffering 20 plus years from Ectopic Brain Injury due to an accident. My mother’s name was Flora which is derived from Flower. It made me think about the process of coming into full bloom and sensing your purpose of being plucked up to be given to someone else to make their lives happier. As I was preparing for this event the Lord spoke this to me as a means of healing from the loss. He said honor your mother by honoring another. In memory of my mom, I will be presenting a few woman with a gift in honor of her “The FlOMAS Award.” We will also be adding a scholarship in memory of Larhonda Jones who was a speaker at our first bloom event. She was violently taken away. Finally Celebrating graduates of LBYOD. (Life by your own design) Some amazing women who has stepped out in business or ministry.
