Sketching and Nature Journaling Topic: Light and Shadow Location: Natural Resources Building, Boulder County Fairgrounds Longmont Date: Wednesday, August 10, 2022 Time:  5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Instructor:  Roberta Johnston Cost:  Free Limited to 20 students Have you ever wanted to learn to sketch plants and nature? Do you want to document your trips into natural areas? In this class you will learn basic sketching and journaling techniques. You don’t have to be an artist to take this class. This class will deepen your observation skills and document your adventures. Please bring the following items: o Your own sketchbook and any art supplies you would like to use. We will have some materials to share. o Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear. o Water o A stool or portable chair, backpack or bag to carry your supplies o Binoculars (optional)o Field guide (optional)
