Join us on Friday, July 1st at 4:00pm for an in-person QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Training. QPR is a practical and empowering course that teaches what you need to know to prevent suicide in your personal and professional life. This training is 60-90 minutes. In QPR you will learn: how to ask someone if they are considering suicidehow to connect someone to appropriate resourceshow to get help for yourself the common causes of suicidal behavior or emotional distressthe warning signs and risk factors for suicidethe myths and facts of suicide Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. Once attended, participants receive a 2 year certification that holds the same weight as a CPR certification and offers 1 CEU. We invite you to stay after the training to enjoy amazing local spirts and connect with ASP staff! This training is limited to 20 participants.
