We will be starting the evening at 5 p.m. with a Clothing Swap! The open mic will start at 7 p.m., followed by a featured performance by local musician, Nova and the Ghost! We will then conclude the evening with a dance party, DJ'd by local DJ Mercedes Whitman. About your featured artist: Pacific Northwest born & Grown, Nova and the Ghost's musical sound has been described as haunting dream pop. She hopes to transport the listener to a world beyond our own using her voice to create complex and ethereal harmonies. Nova (she/her) is a queer singer/songwriter who often has themes of death, rebirth, and the struggles of facing adversity in her music. She spent the majority of her life singing in choirs, and has collaborated with other musicians of all genres. Her latest project was working with the band Elay Arson, featuring on the track "Laser Castle" which received international acclaim. Nova is now working on an EP set to release sometime in 2023. She is also a member of the Threshold Choir, who offer music as a gift for people in end of life care.
