Join us Wednesday, June 15 for Beer School – a tasting experience.
It’s that time again! Time for Beer School at Whistle Pig Brewing. Beer School will be a 5-course pairing dinner with social seating. Join us as we pair beers from Northern California, home of some of the best breweries on the West Coast, as well as beers from Minnesota, Whistle Pig, and more!
The Whistle Pig team has an amazing dinner built around Whistle Pig’s famous Baby back Ribs. The courses of this dinner will include an amuse-bouche, White Chile, Caprese Salad Skewers, Whistle Pig Baby Back ribs, and a choice of either mini fruit tart or lemon bar wedge for dessert.
We are also offering all five courses for vegetarian with the entree being seasoned grilled eggplant.
The courses will be expertly paired with beers from Arcata, CA (arguably the birthplace of the West Coast IPA), options from Minneapolis, Minnesota, a special and exclusive Whistle Pig release, and more!
Beers and pairings will be introduced by brewers Eric Merrell, Rob Beers, and Ben Wilder and include background and trends on the beer styles and flavor profile along with pairing notes for each course.
School starts at 6 pm with a specially selected beer and meet and greet with the brewers and chef. By 6:30 the first course and pairing will begin. This is social seating event and will be held to just 40 tickets, so if you want to stake out a special seat get there early.
This event includes a freshly poured pint on your arrival, each course paired with a wonderful beer. Expect surprises and optional bonus tastings, giveaways, and more!
