CB Den: Mulch and Clean Vanderbilt Park

Join us Saturday June 18th for some good hard work at Vanderbilt Park. Time to get your hands dirty and enjoy the spring weather while helping beautify our wonderful city with the added bonus of socializing with other like-minded young professionals. We are partnering with Denver Parks and Recreation, who operates the extensive park system that includes 30 recreation centers and nearly 20,000 acres of urban and mountain parkland including off-street trails, parkways and natural areas. We will perform debris removal and mulch trees to get the park ready to be enjoyed all summer long. Outdoor working gloves will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Below is everything you need to know: First, We Serve: We'll start the day volunteering from 9am-12:00pm. Just come ready to work, and we'll take care of the rest to ensure a meaningful project. Then, We Socialize: Right after we finish working, we will head around the corner to Chain Reaction Brewery for some sunny patio time, food and cold drinks. Please RSVP if you plan to attend, so we can plan tasks for the appropriate group size! Here’s how it works: Reserve your spot for the event Commit to showing up at the scheduled time (plan ahead the night before...) Join us at immediately following the project for food and drinks Tell your friends to join in, or come alone and meet new people. Either way, you’ll have a blast!
