Over the past two years, the world has been living through a collective trauma: Covid-19; and over the past six years, the United States have been a contentious breeding ground of toxic stress, due to factors that are too many to name. Because of this, I want to present a moment of REST & Nourishment. For the third installment of the REST series, this event will offer: 1. A meal that is health-conscious and delicious 2. A collective meditation experience, aimed at centering and grounding the body and the mind 3. Spoken word and other performances 4. Live music from DJ Mr. Fantastic, Eric Hilson 5. Space to simply exist and REST Thanks to the generous support from Artswave's "Truth and Reconciliation" grant, this event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC AND MADE FOR ALL. *This event is family friendly.
