Hello, My hermit crabs are my loves. This choice was a hard one to make but I do it for their future. I can no longer provide them care they need because of my mental health and they need a human who can. Hermit crabs require a lot of care and cannot be handled. They are not good pets for kids. Hermit crabs over the years have suffered lots of abuse because of improper research and care. Please do research before texting/emailing. They have to have two bodies of water one salt and one fresh. They have a food pyramid that needs to be met and they have to have tank mates as well as shells of many sizes for them to swap into when they molt. They are very fragile and cannot be held due to the oils in our skin and will also be under lots of stress. They have to have ORGANIC fruits and vegetables only and the list just continues. If you can’t give these things please don’t text/email me. Both are male. Pugsley is pretty aware of who you are if you talk to him. Lerch is antisocial really but has been coming out of his shell more to say hello to me. I will give you everything I have to start you off with. Tank (will need to be replaced in the future), food and treats, bowls, tank decorations, salt they need and travel containers. Rehoming fee is 40$ to make sure they go to people with a good home.
