Description
Job Summary Service Technicians are responsible for completing all service activities as directed by Service Manager in a safe manner to exceed customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions
• Expected work hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday *overtime is sometimes available and in some occasions is required
• Present themselves in a professional manner to all Air-Nu customers and prospects
• Complete all tasks in an effort to exceed customer expectations
• Follow all Air-Nu and customer safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and keep all proper PPE issued by Air-Nu and/or customer
• Report inconsistencies, incidents and safety concerns to Service Manager immediately
• Sign off all work completed on service board and service sheets at the completion of job
• Turn in Fuelman receipts daily to Office Manger
• Date and initial all filters installed
• Follow Warehouse procedures for signing out inventory, turn unused filters in daily
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable at all times
Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; ability to pass pre-employment/random drug & alcohol screens; hair follicle drug tests; eligible to secure a security passport and a TWIC card. Must pass criminal background check.
Abilities Required Must be able to operate a vehicle (must have a valid driver’s license/clean driving record), use small hand tools, work in extreme hot or cold temperatures, read, write, complete basic math problems, lift 50 lbs. without assistance, climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
Physical duties
• Extended periods of walking, standing or sitting
• Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders
• Frequent work at elevated heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures
• Ability to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment as required by site or job duties. To include but not limited to: hard had, safety googles, ear protection, respirator and coveralls.
