William Martin, "the king of the historical thriller" brings us back to one of the most frightening times in American history with the amazing backstory behind a plot to assassinate FDR and the manhunt to foil the plan. The story sweeps the reader from the back lots of Hollywood to Christmas Eve 1941 when 20,000 people gather on the South Lawn of the White House to witness the lighting of the Christmas Tree by FDR and his surprise guest, Winston Churchill.
This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Medford Public Library and the Medford Historical Society & Museum.
