A civil war is an internal war. Most likely there will not be chemical or biological warfare. The warfare will be between two parties... like the North and South, it'll be blue vs red.... democrats vs republicans.
Guns will certainly be used. That's the whole point of the founders including the 2nd Amendment... to make sure that the population was able to resist a government overreaching its authority. If the left continues to abuse the 2nd Amendment rights, it may trigger a civil war and with less and less guns to defend against the government, on side may very well resort to crude chemical or biological weapons.
