GlamourGals organizes and supports volunteer chapters in high school and college who provide companionship and our signature program of complimentary beauty makeovers to elderly residents in senior care. Our impact is two fold: Elderly residents in care feel a renewed sense of community and self-worth. Teen Volunteers gain essential leadership skills demonstrating empathy and compassion through our intergenerational programming.During the session, you will learn more about the GlamourGals mission, write kind notes, and be inspired to touch the lives of seniors in the community. Help us bring friendship, kindness, and thoughtful words to seniors who need them the most! Come with kind words, and Grassi will provide paper, and drawing utensils to create the notes! Don't worry you don't need to be an artist to make a senior smile. Volunteer Maximum: 20 Participants Additional Information:This opportunity is open to Jericho and Ronkonkoma employees only.This event will take place in the Jericho training room.
