Have a short story but don't know if it works?
Wish you had someone who could read it and tell you if it's working?
This event will do just that. Learn how to spot areas of opportunities and strengths in other works and apply them to yours. Great for creative writing newbies and veterans, this event will also connect you with others who love telling stories!
How it works:
Submit a short story or fully contained scene (10 pages max) to email [email protected] by June 18. These stories will be circulated to the group and workshopped at the event. The workshop will also include tips to build character and create the foundation of a good story.
This means short plays, scenes, chapters are acceptable.About Janelle Gray:
Janelle has been writing since the age of 11. With a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University Extension School in Creative Writing and Literature, she is currently a doctoral student of Literature at The University of Texas at Dallas. An accomplished playwright, Janelle has a writing portfolio that also consists of 4 books, a CD, short stories, TV shows, short and feature films as well as academic and cultural essays.
