LYG's Annual Pride Prom is Back! This year we are celebrating Pride with a Silent Disco Prom for LGBTQIA+ and Allied Youth (ages 13-20).Theme: Moonbows Aglow - A Night Under the Stars (Did you know, Cumberland Falls is one of the few places in the world that regularly produces a moonbow?!) Attire: Express YOURSELF however you feel comfortable and confident. Dressing for the theme is always encouraged, but never mandatory. Music provided by: DJ Scz from Rhythm Science Sound Silent Disco Headphones provided by: Louisville Silent Disco Prom Portraits by: John Loser Food and Beverages provided by: LYG Other Activities: Chill Area, Card & Table-top Games, Corsage/Boutonniere Station All Participants must Read and Agree to our Community Health & Safety Expectations: Wear a well-fitted Mask to protect yourself & others from Covid-19.Be Kind and Respectful towards your self and others. Bigotry, Harassment, and Violence of ANY kind will not be tolerated, and people who do harm will be removed from Prom.Respect Boundaries, Ask for Consent, and Maintain Confidentiality of everyone in the space. - Do NOT take or share photos/videos of anyone without their explicit consent.Honor and Preserve the Land and Spaces that we occupy. - We are guests on Adena, Hopewell, Myaamia (Miami), Shawandasse Tula (Shawnee), and Wazhazhe Ma'zha' (Osage) lands, and it is our job to leave lands and water better than we found them. We are also guests in the buildings that we occupy, and must also leave these spaces better than we found them. Theft from and/or Damage to the Art Sanctuary will result in at least a $1,000 fine, and being banned from future LYG events.LYG is a Sober space - Alcohol and Drugs are not allowed at LYG, and participants should be sober during Prom.In case of accident, conflict, harmful behavior, illness, crisis, or emergency, contact an Adult Chaperone, Security Person, or Staff Member Immediately.
