Bethesda Beach Trip

On Monday, August 8 the Bethesda Gang will be spending the day at the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Ocean City is approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Perkasie depending on traffic. We will be at the Ocean City, New Jersey beach between 8th and 9th street at 10 AM. Look for our blue and white cool cabana and 2 blue canopies (for shade). The music pier is at this location and there are handicap accessible ramps and bathrooms at this location. Daily beach tags are $5. You may need to purchase one if an attendant comes around to check beach tags. Bring a packed lunch, as well as any other items you may need such as snacks, water, chair, towel, umbrella, sunscreen, games, money for the ice cream man etc. We will plan to leave the beach around 4pm. We can get changed in the bathrooms at the music pier before we get in the car. We will drive approx 10 minutes to Somer's Point, NJ to get pizza at Sal's Cafe Coal Fired Pizza (501 New Rd, Somers Point, NJ 08244). After dinner, we will head home. Plan to return home around 8:30-9:00 PM. We are asking everyone to please pay $15 for dinner ahead of time so we can pay for the food and let the restaurant know how many people to expect in advance. If you are planning to stop and eat pizza with us, please send a check to Steve Kirsch (129 Lawndale Ave, Silverdale, PA 18962) by 7/25. Please make the check payable to Steve Kirsch. Please indicate what kind of toppings you like on your pizza: https://www.salscafecoalfiredpizza.com. Please let us know if you can't eat pizza and need us to order something else for you. If you will be at the pool party, I will collect the money at that time as well. Please put cash in an envelope marked with your name and the amount with a note indicating toppings. Please register/RSVP by Monday, July 25. Please note: our rain date is Wednesday, August 10.
