Based in New Hampshire's Mount Washington Valley, Heather Pierson is a pianist, singer/songwriter, and performer . Her jazz trio, with Shawn Nadeau on bass and Craig Bryan on drums, performs a rich variety of Heather's originals, jazz and blues standards, and unique re-workings of familiar American music. They are best known for their annual December offering, in which they share their joyful interpretation of Vince Guaraldi’s iconic ‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ soundtrack plus other Guaraldi compositions and holiday favorites. A Listening Room Experience Hermit Woods is excited to bring talented artists from across New England and beyond to perform for you. Each performance will provide you with an intimate, up-close, and personal experience with the performing artists. To do this, we ask that our audience please refrain from talking during the featured show. Your silence will allow both the artists and the audience to immerse themselves in the experience, which is not otherwise possible in larger, noisier environments. All shows commence at 6:00 PM with a warm-up artist, singer songwriter Colin Hart on guitar. We encourage you to arrive early and enjoy food and wine until 7:20 while listening to our first act of the evening. The kitchen will close at 7:00. We will introduce the featured artists at 7:20, and we will ask that the audience remain quiet during the performance. The first set will be from 7:30 to 8:15. There is a short intermission from 8:15 to 8:30, at which time you are encouraged to interact, freshen your drinks, and use the restrooms as needed. At 8:30, the show resumes with the second set, concluding between 9:00 and 9:15. After the show, we invite you to interact with the artists and purchase any music or merchandise offerings if available. 6:00 PM - 7:20 PM - Eat, drink, and be merry.
