Description

Hey Folks, After 45 years it is time for me to finally get out of the hobby. I have a 180 gallon reef ready or saltwater ready tank stand hood and more supplies than will fit in a normal car. It is currently set up as a fresh water planted tank with community fish. Here is a list, from memory, of the fish in the tank. There may be more as I have not been able to give this tank the time it needs. Fish: Congo tetras, full grown about 5", qty 13-15 serpae tetras full grown qty 10 jumbo cardinals, full grown, qty. 15 Peacock gudgeon, 2m 2f, qty4 siamese algae eaters full grown, qty 2 otocinclus handful dwarf super red bristtlenose pleco, m and f I think, qty 2 drawf pleco, unknown variety, rino I think qty1 Clown loach, 4-5", qty 4 ghost knife, 7-8", qty 1 double black angels, 3f, 1m, qty 4 koi angels 1m, 1f, breeding pair, bamboo shrimp, I think they are still in there glass cats maybe there was a small school of rummy nose tetras, I think three are left I figure retail on these fish is a little over $1200, I think a rehoming fee of $300(trade in value) is appropriate. Also included is the aquarium. It is an older oceanic. This tank is reef ready with two overflows. Included with the tank is the pictured stand and canopy. Also included is the following: Three two bulb, 54 watt, t5 lighting fixture with geissman plant lamps A 60 watt UV sterilizer An Octo 201s protein skimmer sump 25 gallon ato reserve tank and ato system All plants and driftwood and larger rock pictures. sice flow pumps for salt water hanna salt water test kits 10lb co2 tank, regulator, solenoid, and precision metering valve(new cost was about $850 just for the metering valve). And enough extra equipment supplies, extra t5 lamps(both salt and fresh), extra t5 lights, nets, misc. supplies, pumps, tubing, parts, nets, a couple of tank syphons, and fare more than I can possibly remember. I know you lose A LOT of money on tanks when it is time to resell. I figure the tank, stand, canopy, sump and return pump, lighting are worth $600 pretty easily The extras, including the 10lb co2 tank(3/4 full) set up, uv sterilizer, protein skimmer, hanna test kits(I think I have four different kits), all the extra pumps and lightin and supplies, these are worth another $600(this is really low for the amount of stuff and cost of these items. And then all the fish plants, driftwood, rock, etc. are worth at least another $300-$400. So all total it has a value of about $1600. I need to sell this sooner than later. I would like $1200 for everything. I might consider rehoming the fish separately, but only if I have a buyer who wants only the tank and you take ALL OF THE FISH. It is going to be a lot of work to drain and catch the fish. Rehoming fee on fish will be $300 Lastly, the tank is on the main floor of the house about 15 ft from the front door. There are no obstacles or steps. It is extremely heavy and will require several people to drain, load and lift the tank. I would expect it to take at least several hours of work. I am disabled and can offer minimal help, but I cannot move any part of the tank. I may be able to offer my truck(me driving of course) to help in the move. Please let me know if you have any questions.
