DESCRIPTION The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) Skills Fair will provide annual interactive education, enabling RNs to gain and maintain training on current procedures and equipment according to Stanford Children’s Health (SCH) policies and procedures. Through immersive simulation, the RNs will receive real time coaching and peer-to-peer learning on improving emergency readiness, response and basic life support (BLS), which will reduce risk of harm and improve patient care experiences and outcomes in the Ambulatory setting.OBJECTIVES At the end of this training the Ambulatory RN will be able to: Demonstrate how to properly document a new order, co-sign requirements, and pended orders in the electronic health record (EHR) Demonstrate safe use of common SPH equipment and devices at Stanford Children’s Health Demonstrate how to execute safe emergency management in the Ambulatory ClinicsTARGET AUDIENCE Stanford Children's Health Ambulatory RNs (Clinical Nurses and Nurse Coordinators)REGISTRATION and FEES This FREE training is exclusively offered to Stanford Children's Health Ambulatory RNs.CHANGES ON REGISTRATION Change date and time: Email [email protected].
