Hi guys! Need money today? Because I need my dang grass cut today, says the HOA! just got this house in historic Montford neighborhood downtown Asheville last month. It’s a beautiful 3/3 home with large fenced in back yard but I’m a 95 pound 4’11 girl living alone and reallllly need some assistance with general lawn care! The back yard is overgrown, uneven and sloped so I’m having some construction done on the deck to make it wrap around the back and have two levels which each support a pool, hot tub, gazebo, ect. but for now I just need general clearing and killing of the invasive species done. IMPORTANT: If you know how to somehow level the ground or build some kind of simple low wide platform to support an above ground pool and possibly some simple patio furniture, I would be very interested in an Estimate for that!!! Even better if it’s possible to make it happen so I can put up a 10x13 canopy with deck furniture for 6-8 people, grill, fire pit, hot tub, movie projector ect. There’s not a ton of grass but I do need it to be mowed weekly and I do not have a lawn mower! Bonus points if you have one, otherwise I’ll just buy one. I also need the invasive species killed (apparently spraying it with vinegar does the trick) but as you can see in the photos the back yard was very overgrown when I moved in and I’m not entirely sure what to do. This will likely be a weekly ongoing thing for a few months minimum and possibly continue long term. Depending on experience and ability, pay starts at $15/hr and increases up to $50 depending on your knowledge of clearing of the yard, leveling ground and what tools you have. Obviously any construction work you would quote me on separately! Side note: I don’t drive I’m epileptic so I do need a new driver for a few errands per week, nothing long or major or last minute. Pay is $15/hr plus gas/mileage and will never be less than $50/week even if you only take me on one 5 minute ride to the store to get milk :). Essential errands are my dogs monthly vet appointment In Hendersonville, my doctors appointment, general trips to Home Depot/lowes/target for household maintenance things, and a few general physical maintenance things (vain girl stuff). I have most everything else delivered so I imagine maybe 3-4 errands per week max between 30 min - 60 minutes each. So these two gigs could be the same person or two different people! Lastly, I haven’t posted this yet as I’m undecided but I’m considering renting the second floor of my house to someone who maybe works remotely and could use a master bed and bath and a second spare room as an office space. Both rooms have walk in closets, one is furnished with a bed, dresser and nightstand (these can be removed at your request).There’s also small living room and massive finished storage closet. The upstairs is closed off by a locking door and very private, (can be found proofed if you’d like) and has its own thermostat, but we share an entrance and common areas. Please do not comment on this part unless you are first inquiring about the jobs offered. I have not decided on rent yet, or if I’ll even rent it out, I may potentially exchange partial rent for one or both of the above jobs! No dogs, my dog is aggressive but cats and other animals are welcome! Older Kids are okay part time but please no babies, toddlers or older teens or any full time children. My preference is a single person in their late 20’s or 30’s with no kids like myself who won’t be bringing home a different tinder date every night. For reference I’m single, child less amd proud and work remotely from home as a financial markets analyst so I’m home an awful lot! Everything downstairs is furnished beautifully, smart home controlled with new updated appliances snd a very nice fenced in backyard to start construction on soon. Off street parking and since I don’t drive it’s all yours! 10 minute walk to downtown Asheville a half mile from Everyday Darlings and 9 Mile.
