TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Open Space & Recreation Committee and the Tewksbury Public Library invite residents to take a guided hike of Rogers Park this Saturday at 10 a.m.
The hike will be led by Open Space & Recreation Committee member Bruce Shick and accompanied by Beautification Committee member and native plant and tree expert Kathy MacInnis.
This easy hike is 1.6 miles long and will last approximately 75 minutes. Please park in the Rogers Park parking lot and, when full, along Kennedy Road. Do not block driveways. This hike is limited to 25 cars.
Registration is required by visiting the library's calendar of events or registering online. If residents have further questions, they can contact Community Outreach Librarian Robert Hayes.
Residents who join the hike are advised to wear sensible footwear and bring bug spray and water. Dog owners are encouraged to leave their dogs at home. Registrants will receive additional information via email 48 hours before the hike.
