SALEM, MA — Road work will shut down lanes of Route 107 from Salem to Lynn starting Sunday night.
The state Department of Transportation said overnight construction will begin at 8 p.m. on Sunday and last for about three weeks on Sundays through Thursdays. The construction zone is from Victory Road in Lynn to Colby Street in Salem.
Work is set to conclude by 5 a.m. each morning.
One travel lane will be open at all times amid the pavement milling project.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
The work is part of the $4.1 million Route 107 resurfacing and improvement project.
