MARLBOROUGH, MA — One of the most important people in Marlborough City Hall will serve for at least another three years.
The Marlborough City Council on Monday unanimously reappointed City Clerk Steve Kerrigan to a term that will expire in May 2025. His most recent three-year term expired on May 20.
As clerk, Kerrigan is in charge of city elections and voter registration, maintaining meeting minutes and agendas, running city council meetings and issuing a host of certifications, including licenses for dogs, physicians and marriages.
