Eastern Iowa Tourism Association's Annual Meeting Event Flyer Bison Bridge Video Schedule of Events: 10:00 am Registration 10:30 am Welcome & Annual Business Meeting 11:30 am Living Lands & Waters Presentation 12:30 pm Lunch Session Description: Living Lands & Waters, a newly formed foundation, unveiled conceptual plans for repurposing the Interstate 80 Bridge over the Mississippi River. The plan calls for the bridge to be turned into a wildlife crossing and pedestrian parkway called BISON BRIDGE. The concept is like no other currently in the United States. It’s a land bridge, consisting of a wildlife and recreational crossing connecting the Illinois and Iowa riverfronts on the Mississippi River.
