Please join us in celebrating another year of helping low income homeowners with repairs! Last year in 2021, we were able to help 125+ homes with repairs that will keep the families safe, warm and dry. Help us stay on track in reaching more homeowners in 2022! Our annual fundraising event will highlight art work from local artists. The event brings art, food and philanthropy together at Jasper Winery. Contributions to the silent and live art auctions will support the programs of Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines. “The main goal of Rebuilding Together is to provide maintenance that allows low income residents to stay in their homes,” said Kimberly Hansen, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines. “Each year volunteers have helped hundreds of Des Moines residents do so, and we look forward to their work day every year. Our organization is able to provide these repairs at no charge to the homeowner.” Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines is one of the 125+ Rebuilding Together nationwide affiliates that preserve affordable home ownership and revitalizes communities nationwide. In the past 27 years, Rebuilding Together Greater Des Moines has organized more than 25,000 volunteers who have repaired or rehabilitated more than 3,750 homes, along with more than a dozen city parks, public spaces, and non-profit facilities. The result is $8.9 million in added market value to Des Moines homes and neighborhoods.
