Here are the top 3 stories in Huntington today: Harborfields High School named its valedictorian and salutatorian at its annual Senior Awards Ceremony on May 24, recognizing outstanding students. Principal Tim Russo announced Jacob Siegel and Christopher Qi as the Class of 2022's valedictorian and salutatorian at the ceremony. "This Class of 2022, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you these last four years and an honor to celebrate you this evening," Russo said.(Huntington Patch) Former Huntington town councilwoman Susan Berland will run for state senate. Berland, a Democrat, will run against state Sen. Mario Mattera (R-St. James). (Patch) "Two 16 year olds, a boy and a girl, were charged with eight counts of third-degree burglary and four counts of criminal mischief," Nassau police said. A 15-year-old girl and two 14-year-old boys were also arrested and face the same charges. Their identities were not released because they are minors.
