WATERFORD, CT — Police and firefighters responded Thursday morning after Waterford High School was struck by lightning, according to WTNH News-8. Officials were called due to a severe thunderstorm that rolled through. Lightning struck near the building's auditorium and set off a fire alarm. Students and faculty are safe, WTNH News-8 reported.
