Join Lauren Grace at Rohr Park this Summer.Enter the park at Gate B. We will be located under gazebo 5 near the new green play structure. I will have an Art-Full-Moments sign to help you find us. 'Art in the Park' is for kids ages 6-12 yrs.We will meet every Tuesday at 10am-11:30am for six weeks. Dates: June 7th-July 12thCost: $20 per session , all art materials included. Best to sign up for all if possible.They will learn about watercolor, acrylic paint, color pencil, marker techniques and application that will inspire them to keep growing and exploring their creativity . This will be a fun and interactive art experience. Please bring water, snacks and sunscreen for your kids. Lauren Grace has been involved in the creative arts since childhood, growing up in England. Her earliest memories were painting at pre-school, so she understands the importance of art in education. She believes it is foundational in trusting ourselves creatively and intuitively. Which makes for a more rounded, productive human being. Lauren trained in dance, singing and acting and had a theatre career in San Francisco and Berkeley before becoming a Mother of two beautiful boys. Becoming a mother led her to becoming an Art teacher and Video host with the Rainforest Art Project. During her time at the Rainforest art project (2017- 2021) Lauren and her awesome team created an art program for the Public school system and for homeschoolers (Ages 5-12) . You can watch one of the educational videos below. Lauren also began teaching art with ArtBeat SD. She found she had a natural ability for sharing the concepts an application of art, and loves to help ignite that passion in others. It is our most natural state after all. During her time with ArtBeat she worked at NewBridge school in Poway, offering a weekly art class to 1st grade through 8th grade students.
