The Omicron Xi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Will be hosting it’s 9th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament now renamed “The Stan Counts Jr. Memorial“ Golf Tournament will be held August 6th, 2022 at Shoal Creek Golf Course. We are a 501(c) (3) organization whose mission is “To promote and foster community involvement as we give back to the Kansas City Metro Area through scholarships, fellowship, and fraternity mandated programs.” Over the past fifteen years, we have given significant financial support for 75 students of needand at risk from our community here in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Our 2021awardees include the following: Mina and Muara Taylor from Grandview HS who are now attending NorthCarolina AT & T University. Colin Williams from Raytown South HS, now attending MissouriValley College. Nyle Banks from Olathe north HS, now attending Southern University atBaton RougeAnthony Wilson II from Lees Summit now attending Jackson State University.100% of the proceeds from our "SCJ" Scholarship Golf Tournament will be used to help deserving minority students continue their college education.
