Rehoming 3.5 year old Spayed Female

Description
It is with much thought and considerable amounts of ugly crying that I have had to come to the decision to re-home our beloved Pearl. We are moving to Sweden for my graduate school and are finding it difficult to find housing in general over there, let alone with a puppers involved. On top of that I have a connective tissue disorder and she is a puller so she does not get the exercise she needs as I am often injured in general or get injured on our walks. A little about Pearl: she is a 3.5 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is fixed, tattooed, and chipped and has a veterinary history at McKinleyville Animal Care Center. She knows basic commands but chooses when to listen. I believe with proper exercise, some better walk training, and desensitizing to stimuli on walks she will be even better behaved. She does NOT do well with cats and small animals (she has accidentally caught a gopher before) but she DOES do well with kids of at least preschool age and above. She is hit or miss with dogs she knows and does not know how to greet other dogs well. Oh, and she is very curious and counter surfs/gets into bags despite consistent redirection. She needs someone who has the time to devote to retraining her away from these bad habits. I will be asking for a rehoming fee to help ensure she can be well cared for (PM regarding this) and hope that we can get a periodic picture if possible (but we understand if that isn't possible). She will move with two different sized kennels, lots of bedding and toys, a car seat cover and car leashes, a harness, and her food. We promise to try not to cry but can't guarantee it. We sincerely love her enough to try to find her a home just as loving but that can better meet her needs. If you are interested in providing our love a good home please respond by telling me a little about you, your family, and/or living situation. I will be asking for a $100 rehoming fee to ensure you can take care of her financially.
