Food distribution hub needs volunteers

Nondenominational food pantry hub needs volunteers. Their motto Volunteers are the hands and feet in our mission to prevent hunger and homelessness. And we are missing one of each at the moment. :(Tasks volunteers needed forMorning pickups at grocery stores - from 7:30-10:30 (return times very slightly) Times below can vary , typically10:00 to 1:00 , 1-4pm. But if you need a slightly different schedule, like if you can only help between 11:00-1:00 that is fine as well. Processing food to removed bad or out of date. Checking egg cartons to transfer the eggs to another carton while cleaning off unbroken eggs ( if adjacent broken egg spilled on it. ) Sorting incoming dry goods, sorting bakery, while looking for bad bakery. Putting together boxes for food to be distributed later. How to Volunteer We could not accomplish what we do—helping tens of thousands of people in need each year with food, housing, and case management—without YOU! Volunteer once a week, once a month or once in-a-while. It all makes a difference! We love to see groups unite and help prevent hunger and homelessness!
