LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Saturday and Wednesday.

Saturday
Police stopped a vehicle at Big Oak Road & Oxford Valley Road for violations. Police discovered that the driver, a 27-year-old Langhorne man, was in possession of a firearm with a revoked permit, as well as a warrant out of Bucks County. He was taken into police custody.Sunday
A theft from a vehicle was reported from the 1300 block of Pepperbush Court at 10:26 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of the license plate from their vehicle.Monday
A report of fraud was made from the 1500 block of Silo Road at 11:30 a.m. The complainant reported calling an 800 number for what they thought was Microsoft IT Support and was instructed to put $15,000 in an electronic Bitcoin machine. The victim sent $1,000 before realizing it was a scam.Wednesday
A theft was reported from the 900 block of Stony Hill Road at 2:55 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of copper from the building.A case of retail theft was reported from the 1600 block of Big Oak Road at the local Shop Rite. The store's Loss Prevention reported an unknown man taking $115.55 worth of merchandise without paying.
