Description

We are looking for a hardworking, responsible Driver. Responsibilities include daily pickups of customer items which will be brought back to our warehouse for crating and shipping. Customer items may range in size from large and heavy to small and fragile. The Driver must use extreme care when loading and unloading customer items. The Driver will also be responsible for unloading the truck once back at the warehouse and weighing and measuring all items once unloaded. Additional responsibilities include occasional delivery of completed crates, navigating the valley for pick up and delivery locations, obtaining customer signatures as acknowledgement of having picked up and/or received delivered products, keeping accurate pick up and delivery records, ensuring all safety procedures are followed, and effectively communicating with customers presenting a positive image of the company to our customers and general public. Requirements: • Experience driving 24-foot box truck, no CDL required • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs • Prefer experience loading and/or unloading product from trucks • Prefer customer service experience • Must be a team player with the ability to work in fast paced environment – you will be working with a Lead Driver • Knowledge of the valley is helpful • Must be reliable and punctual • Must have excellent communication skills • Must be able to take direction and accept feedback • Must possess a valid Driver’s license and have a clean driving record Pay and Benefits: • Pay = $18.00/hr to start • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits after 30 days of employment – portion paid by employer • Paid holidays – eligible after 90 days employment • Paid sick time – eligible after 90 days employment • One-week paid vacation – eligible after 1 year of service • Retirement plan with company match – eligible after 90 days employment • Room for advancement and growth with the company • Hours: Full-time, shift is Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm If interested, please submit your resume.
