MUST APPLY ONLINE AT: TYPICAL TASKS/REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: • Cleans, sweeps, and mops floors in all areas; • Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, and metal work in all areas; • Maintains restrooms in a clean and sanitary condition and replenishes supplies; • Empties waste receptacles and ash trays and disposes of trash; • Empties recycle receptacles and dispose in recycle bins; • Moves and arranges furniture and office equipment; • Operates dehumidifier to disinfect rooms; • Cleans, disinfects, and polishes water fountains; • Locks office doors and turns out the lights; • Crushes glass receptacles; • Sets up furniture and prepares rooms for special functions; • Patrols designated areas making systematic inspections of buildings; • Closes and locks buildings; • Turns off lights; • Observes and reports conditions which may indicate vandalism, illegal entry, or fire hazard; • Prepares simple records, such as: time of rounds or a description of incidents. • Strips, waxes, and buffs floors; operates and maintains heavy floor care equipment used in work; • Vacuums carpets and draperies; • Shampoos carpets; • Replaces light bulbs or florescent tubes; • Washes walls and inside windows; • Disinfects public telephones; • Minor Bio-hazardous clean-up and disposal; • Performs other related duties as required.
