Press release from the Plainfield Park District: PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners issued a resolution dedicating the Eaton Preserve bee hives in honor of former commissioner Rebecca Hosford, who passed away in 2019. The resolution was passed at the regular park board meeting held June 8. The complete resolution can be viewed online. Effective Wednesday, the hives were dedicated as the Hosford Apiary for her commitment to the environment and extraordinary contributions to the Plainfield Park District.
