Description

The Lansing Branch NAACP and Lansing Juneteenth Committee are hosting a job and community resource fair during the 29th annual Lansing Juneteenth Celebration of events, with support from Capital Area Michigan Works!. The job and community resource fair is taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, in St. Joseph Park during the 2022 Juneteenth Freedom Festival. With over 30 employers attending from a variety of industries as well as other community resources, this event is an opportunity for candidates to network with local organizations and learn more about available positions that can adequately meet their interests and needs. This fair, along with the rest of the Lansing Juneteenth Celebration, is a rain or shine event. Attendees are encouraged to come as they are — this is a casual event compared to a traditional job fair, so there’s no required dress code or need to print out resume copies. If you are an employer or community resource interested in getting involved, please contact Teri Sand, business services manager for Capital Area Michigan Works!, at [email protected]
