WOODBURY, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is planning to close all southbound lanes of Interstate 494 in Woodbury again this weekend, as crews continue repairing the road.
Southbound I-494 has been reduced to two lanes daily between Tamarack and Lake roads for the past week, while that portion of the interstate was fully closed last weekend.

MnDOT is set to shut down all southbound I-494 entrance and exit ramps in the area by 9 p.m. Friday, with the interstate to close by 10 p.m. between I-94 and Lake Road. The Lake Road entrance ramp to southbound I-494 will remain open during the closure, officials said.
Drivers will be detoured along I-94 and Highway 61 during the closure, which is scheduled to end by 5 a.m. Monday, officials said.
