Summer's smoothest sounds come to downtown Dayton on Sunday, June 12, as the Dayton Jazz Festival returns to the Levitt Pavilion Dayton (134 S. Main St). Admission is free. The entertainment line-up, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., includes: the Tucki Bailey Band, the Brian Cashwell Band, the Kelli Campbell Quintet, Chango, and Robert Cunningham and the Heavy Hitters.
Food, beverages and merchandise will be available to purchase; drinking water is free, courtesy of the Dayton Dept. of Water (please bring a refillable container). Bring a blanket or lawn chair; no pets, coolers, grills, or outside food/beverages, please.
The City of Dayton Summer Music Series continues with the Blues Festival (July 24), the Funk Festival (Aug. 14), and the Reggae Festival (Sept. 4), all at the Levitt Pavilion. The series is presented by the City of Dayton Department of Recreation, with support from Levitt Pavilion Dayton, Radisson of Dayton, the Downtown Dayton Partnership, and Taje Music Entertainment.
