Press release from Cosumnes Community Services District: June 7, 2022 We are pleased to share that Cosumnes Fire Department's first Deputy Fire Marshal was formally sworn into rank on June 3, 2022. Congratulations to Deputy Fire Marshal Amber Anderson on her promotion. Entering the Cosumnes Fire Department in 2000, DFM Anderson's career has taken her through many positions, including a Fire Inspector II, Fire Investigator and Acting Fire Marshal. Her passion and life's work have been to keep firefighters and civilians protected by contributing to the International Fire and Building code development and NFPA standards processes.
