Groundskeeper Needed

We are looking for a groundskeeper to maintain 1 acre of landscaped yard. Candidate must have plant care knowledge and above all must care for the yard as if it was his or her own. Ultimate expectation is that groundskeeper will operate with minimal supervision using landowners priorities. Estimate the job at about 4 hours a week with flexible schedule. Duties (as needed) include: -Monitor the health of all plants -Irrigation system maintenance -Fertilize all plants and lawns -Weed abatement (including lawn) -Pruning of shrubs -Trapping rodents -Cleanup/removal of debris & rock -Clean & maintain BBQ & picnic area -Propose & plant new plants -Shopping for plants & supplies -Small landscaping projects -Maintain yard lights -Clean & maintain water features -Seasonal Power washing -Maintain organized tool shed -Maintain yard in excellent appearance Weekly mow and blow are done by another contractor and are NOT part of this groundskeeper job. The ideal candidate will understand this is not a typical Gardner or Landscaper position as the scope of responsibility is very wide and includes non Gardner duties to maintain the yard in ideal appearance.
