Landscape Construction COMPANY SUMMARY Genesis Landscapes is an owner-operated landscape design + build team based in Sacramento, CA. We focus on small-scale residential projects and are currently looking for a candidate who has a passion for both designing and building outdoor spaces. The owners of Genesis Landscapes are forward-thinking people who are growth-focused and are looking to build a team of like-minded individuals who strive to work hard and take pride in their work. We don't work long hours but work hard when we do and compensate accordingly. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A successful project coordinator implements the design in the field, is professional and comfortable speaking to clients, and enjoys working outside with their hands. Being highly productive and organized, ability to think big picture while also having attention to detail is necessary. A background and education in landscape design and/or construction is a plus, but all that is required is having an interest and a willingness to learn. If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn and grow in this field, we will provide the training necessary. On-site tasks: Implement design by marking, layout out plants and material, pick up materials, communicate with clients, build valves, set irrigation controllers, etc. - Current driver’s license and vehicle - Strong organizational skills - Ability to plan ahead and learn fast - Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Client-focused with strong communication skills - Ability to work in various weather conditions (hot and cold temperatures) HOURS + COMPENSATION Flexible hours, generally between the hours of 7am-2pm Monday-Friday 30 hours/week to start Starting pay, $25/hour for training period.
