Press release from the City of Douglasville: Post Date:06/07/2022 12:23 PM The Douglasville City Hall offices will be temporarily closing starting Monday, June 13th due to roofing renovations. City staff will continue to provide services to the public electronically, by phone or mail, and by appointments made in advance. A department and staff list is available below. Renovations are expected to take 2 weeks. Any changes will be communicated to City of Douglasville staff and citizens. The Finance counter inside City Hall will be operating out of the Douglasville Conference Center located at 6700 Church St. Payments for Occupational Taxes, Business Licensing, Alcohol Licenses and more can be handled online or by emailing [email protected]; checks can be mailed to City of Douglasville ATTN: Finance P.O. Box 219 Douglasville, GA 30135. During this time, only debit and credit cards will be accepted no cash. Please note, there is a $2 minimum or 2.5% fee, whichever is greater for each credit card transaction. Human Resources will be accessible at 8485 W. Courthouse Square, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Other departments that typically operate from City Hall will be working remotely from other City of Douglasville facilities. Only City Hall offices at 6695 Church Street will be closed; Douglasville Parks and other city facilities will not be impacted. All City events, meetings and activities will remain as scheduled.
